Rhonda Cue, ARNP, Joins Family Medicine Team at CMH Medical Clinic

 

Community Memorial Hospital welcomes Rhonda Cue, ARNP, to its team of primary care providers at CMH Medical Clinic in Sumner starting April 2026.

Rhonda is a board-certified Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner with 17 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and 13 years of prior experience as a Registered Nurse. She brings extensive knowledge in managing acute conditions and chronic disease, with a special focus on chronic disease management and the care of older adults.

Rhonda earned her Diploma in Nursing from Allen Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Allen College, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She later completed post-master’s certificates as both an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Saint Louis University and a Family Nurse Practitioner from Allen College. She has been certified and licensed as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner since 2009 and as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2014.

Her approach to patient care centers on education and empowerment. Rhonda believes patients should have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. She emphasizes the importance of healthy lifestyle choices alongside medical treatment to promote overall well-being and help limit the progression and impact of chronic disease.

Previously, Rhonda taught in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs at Allen College, and she continues to apply her passion for teaching by helping patients better understand their health and treatment plans. She strives to ensure every patient feels comfortable discussing concerns affecting both their physical and mental health.

Rhonda is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, and the Iowa Nurses Association. She is dedicated to helping patients live healthy, fulfilling lives and achieve the best possible quality of life.
